Soft Donegal Yarn by Studio Donegal is super soft merino wool with beautiful rich flecks of complimenting color. This 2-ply tweed with rustic appeal has been created in Ireland, using traditional spinning and dyeing techniques. Soft Donegal yarn knits up easily into warm and soft sweaters, jackets, or accessories for all family.

Studio Donegal spins in Kilcar, on the Atlantic coast of County Donegal, and its yarn is the real Irish tweed: a heathered ground with flecks of colour spun in. Soft Donegal is the aran-weight merino version — soft enough for a sweater worn next to the skin, with the nepped tweed look that a plain heather cannot fake.
