Bluefaced Leicester Yarn by Juniper Moon Farm is soft and lustrous easy-care 100% wool harvested from Bluefaced Leicester Sheep. This 2-ply, worsted weight yarn is pleasant to knit with and has an excellent stitch definition. BLF works perfect for warm and cozy garments and accessories.

Juniper Moon Farm makes the yarns we sell most of, and it is easy to see why: each line is built around one good idea. Cumulus is a blown cotton — a fine nylon mesh filled with Mako cotton — so it weighs half what a worsted cotton usually does and knits into tees and summer cardigans that do not sag. Zooey is a rustic cotton-linen DK that softens with every wash. Herriot is 100% baby alpaca at a worsted gauge, the warmest thing on the shelf for its weight.
