Superwash Wool Yarn

Superwash wool has been treated so its scales cannot lock together, which means it can go through a cold, gentle machine cycle without felting. It is the wool for children's clothes, socks and any sweater whose owner will not hand-wash it.

The treatment also makes the yarn take dye more vividly and drape a little more than untreated wool. It will not felt, so keep it away from any felting project.
