Lamb's Pride Bulky is the same 85% wool, 15% mohair as the worsted at twice the gauge: US 10½ needles, 125 yards to a 4 oz skein, and the fastest felt in the shop. It is the yarn most felted-bag and slipper patterns are written for, and unfelted it makes a dense, warm hat in an evening.

Brown Sheep Company has spun yarn in Mitchell, Nebraska since 1980, and Lamb's Pride Worsted is the reason most knitters know the name: 85% wool and 15% mohair, a slight halo, and the fastest, most even felt of any yarn we stock. It is the standard for felted bags and slippers, and unfelted it makes warm, hard-wearing hats and mittens. Lamb's Pride Bulky is the same blend at twice the gauge.
