Quaker Hill Yarn by Plymouth Yarn Co is light, warm, and soft blend of Highland Wool and Alpaca. This dk/sport weight yarn with an excellent stitch definition works perfect for cable, or colorwork projects. Quaker Hill Yarn is pleasure to work with and knits up nicely into warm and cozy garments and accessories.

Plymouth Yarn Company, out of Pennsylvania, is where most knitters find their first good alpaca: Baby Alpaca Grande is a chunky 100% baby alpaca that makes a scarf in an evening and a cowl in an hour, and Baby Alpaca Worsted is the same fibre at sweater gauge. Suri Stratus is the brushed suri laceweight for a halo.
The wools are the workhorses.
