Nylon Yarn

Nylon on its own is not a knitting yarn; nylon in a blend is what makes a sock heel last and a cotton tee hold its shape. Twenty to twenty-five per cent in a superwash wool is the classic sock recipe, and a fine nylon mesh is what lets Cumulus weigh half of what a cotton usually does.

Everything here is machine washable by construction — check the wool half of the blend for superwash before you count on it.
