Mohair Yarn

Mohair, from the Angora goat, is the fibre with the halo: a fuzzy aura that fills in lace, softens a colour and traps warmth. Kid mohair is the fine, silky grade used in laceweight blends; adult mohair in a wool blend adds strength and felts hard.

Held together with another yarn it lends its halo to anything; on its own it is difficult to rip back, so knit a swatch first.
