Lace Yarn

Lace weight is the finest yarn we stock: 800 yards or more to 100 g, knit on US 0–3 needles for a fabric that shows every stitch, or on US 6–8 for the open, airy shawl fabric most lace patterns are written for. A single skein is often a whole shawl.

Silk and mohair blends bloom and drape; a plied merino gives the crispest stitch definition. Block hard — lace only looks like lace once it has been stretched and pinned.
