Materials:

One skein of each color Cascade 220 Wool Red (8414), Natural (8010), Celtic Green (9410)
Crystal Palace 8” Double Pointed Needles US 8 (set of 5)
Hook

Pattern:

Cast on 60 sts on Double Pointed Needles (15sts each needle) with Natural color
Round 1: purl
Round 2: knit
Repeat Round 1 and Round 2 four more times
Next 4 rounds knit with Celtic Green color
Next 3 rounds knit 3sts with Celtic Green color, 2sts with Red color
Next 4 rounds knit with Celtic Green color
Next 4 rounds knit with Natural color
Next 3 rounds knit 2sts with Natural color, 2sts with Red color
Next 4 rounds knit with Red colors
Next 4 rounds knit with Celtic Green color
Next 3 rounds knit 3sts with Celtic Green color, 2sts with Natural color
Next 4 rounds knit with Celtic Green color
Next 4 rounds knit with Red color
Next 3 rounds knit 2sts with Red color, 2sts with Natural color
Next 4 rounds knit with Natural color
Next 4 rounds knit with Celtic Green color
Next 3 rounds knit 3sts with Celtic Green color, 2sts with Red color

Shape Heel
Transfer all sts from needle 1 to needle 2 You will have 30sts on needle 2
(Don’t touch needle 3 and needle 4)
Continue work with needle 2
Turn your work after each row.
Next 14 rows knit 30sts with Natural color, turn work

Turn Heel
Row 15: knit 19sts, k2tog, turn work
Row 16 (wrong side): knit 9 sts, p2tog, turn work
Row 17: knit 9sts, k2tog, turn work
Continue row 16 and row 17 until you will have only 10sts on needle 2

Foot
Transfer 5sts from needle 2 to needle 1
On needle 1 pick up 10 sts from right side of shape heel
On needle 2 pick up 10sts from left side of shape heel
You will have 4 needles 15sts each needle (total 60sts)
Next 4 rounds knit with Natural color
*Next 3 rounds knit 2sts with Natural color, 2sts with Red color
Next 3 rounds knit 2sts with Red color, 2sts with Natural color *
Repeat from * two times more
Next 3 rounds knit 2sts with Natural color, 2sts with Red color

Toe Decreases
Next round knit with Natural color:
Needle 1 - k2tog, knit
Needle 2 - k2tog, knit
Needle 3 - k2tog, knit
Needle 4 - k2tog, knit
Repeat this round until you will have 4sts (1sts on each needle)
Knit last 4sts tog.
Weave in end.
Make a loop using a hook.
