La Gran from Classic Elite is the best mohair on the market. The mohair in La Gran is twisted with a wool (for warmth) and nylon (for strength) as a binder that keeps the mohair from shedding. The yarn is then brushed to bring out the lofty soft halo of the mohair fiber. It is available in so many colors you will find just the right one for your special project!
Twinkle Baby Chunky Yarn from Classic Elite is a super-soft 100% virgin wool yarn with a very loose twist, developed by Wenlan Chia to create slimmer silhouettes that feature more stitch detail. This wonderful yarn comes in several classic vintage shades and knits up quick and easy into cozy garments and accessories.
Woodland from Classic Elite, part of Verde Collection of eco conscious yarns, is a combination of wool and environmentally-friendly nettles. Each of these fibers takes the dye differently, giving both the neutral and vibrant colors of Woodland a heathered look. Nettles are a perennial that requires low levels of water and little or no pesticides. Nettle fibers are similar to linen and hemp but produce a softer, silkier fiber. Nettles show color well and, when mixed with wool, add lightness, minimize shrinkage and are breathable.
