Malabrigo

Malabrigo is a family-run mill in Uruguay whose hand-dyed merino made kettle-dyed color a household word among knitters. Every skein is dyed in small batches, so colors shift and pool — the reason dye lots matter with this yarn more than with any other, and the reason we match them by hand.

Rios is the superwash worsted most people mean when they say Malabrigo; Arroyo is its sport-weight sibling. Worsted is the single-ply original — softer, loftier, and a favorite for felting. Rasta is the super-bulky single, and Verano is pima cotton for warm-weather knits.
